Why I'm Excited for Miracle at St. Anna

Miracle at St. Anna, directed by Spike Lee, comes out at the other end of the month, and I'm really excited for it. There are a few reasons I could theorize, but despite anything else, it's mainly one thing:

Alexandra Maria Lara!

When the trailer came out, I SWORE that was her. No one else is as stunningly beautiful as Alexandra in this or any world, and her beauty is very recognizable. Well, it apparently is her, so yay. And not only because I was right! This should be interesting. I mean, she plays Axis Sally! AXIS SALLY! I have absolutely no idea how long she'll be in the movie, but I hope at least it gives her some more exposure. She should be treated like the second coming, people. Get on that. That is all.

P.S.: See Youth Without Youth. Please?

I am really excited for this too, and it does indeed have something to do with the greatness that is Alexandra Maria Lara.

WOW!!!, That was a revelation, I didn't know Alexandra Maria Lara was in Miracle at Sta. Anna. One of the two most important romanian actresses right now (With Anamaria Marinca), she's talented and beautiful. I love her performance in "Downfall".

People still watch Spike Lee movies?

I know, right?

But when he makes one with AML, I can't resist. Even if I found Inside Man pointless.

Yeah I wasn't a big fan of INSIDE MAN either. I never could figure out why so many people raved over it. I thought it was convoluted.

I actually really, really liked it when I first saw it, but the second time resulted in a resounding "So?" from me. It was kind of obnoxious too? I loved Jodie, though.
