For... some reason or another... I got my first Blu-Ray movies today - Australia and WALL•E. I just feel like announcing it. Maybe just to say they're much more interesting first-owned than E.T. the Extra Terrestrial (which was my first DVD for some reason). Sure, I mean, I don't have a player yet, nor do we even have a suitable HDTV whatsoever, BUT I HAVE THEM. This may seem like backwards logic, but it's actually to save money - buy the discs gradually so when we get the stuff we'll have something to watch. Damn this recession.Anyway, I have basically been making love to them all day. The boxes are so gloriously compact and BLUE (duh). It doesn't hurt that their respective cover arts are nearly perfect and damn addictive to look at. So are the films themselves! Ugh, I wanna watch them NOWWWW.
Fate is a bitch.

I did the same thing before I got my first DVD player. I think I had ten DVDs before I had the DVD: Gone With The Wind, Singing In The Rain, The Wizard of Oz, Titanic, Pleasantville, I can't remember the rest.
Oh, and Happy Birthday!
First of all, happy (belated) birthday!!!
2nd. The best movies on bluray are the older ones.
3rd. WALL-E must be orgasmical on bluray.
@Vera: Haha, that's awesome (and expectable). ;)
@David: Oh, more than likely. To both parts probably, lol.
Also, thanks you guys. :)
